25 FEBRUARY 2016 | STOCKHOLM
TIME: 9.00 – 16.30
PLACE: AGEING AND RESEARCH CENTRE, ARC.
The Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) is a multidisciplinary and cross-national panel database of micro data on health, socio-economic status and social and family networks of approximately 110,000 individuals from 20 European countries (+Israel) aged 50 or older. SHARE has become a major pillar of the European Research Area, and was given a legal status as the first ever European Research Infrastructure Consortium (SHARE-ERIC) in March 2011.
The main ambition with the workshop is to facilitate, encourage and stimulate researchers in Sweden to make use of SHARE-data in their scientific inquiry. During this workshop we will introduce and present the SHARE project and how you can use the SHARE data in your research. We welcome all interested researchers to participate, new as well as old users of SHARE. Experts from the SHARE central coordination team at Max Planck Institute in Munich, will give lectures on the SHARE data base content, structure, panel design and documentation. Also, several new studies based on SHARE will be presented.
